Mokume Gane is an ancient technique of Japanese origin in which layers of alternating colors of precious metals are fused, forged and patterned to create swirling images of color in a sheet of metal. This Mokume Gane wedding ring by Tasmanian jewellery Melissa Baldock consists of multiple layers of sterling silver, 18ct yellow, 18ct white and 18ct rose gold fused and forged together to make this amazing ring.
