TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. This page was last updated in July 2026.

All jewellery is made to order

Most Lord Coconut jewellery is made to order by individual Australian-based jewellers and designers.

Please allow approximately 3 weeks for your order to be made and posted, unless a different timeframe is stated on the individual product page. We will provide tracking details once your order has been posted.

Because each piece is made by an individual jeweller, small variations may occur in finish, texture, colour, stone placement or handmade detail. This is part of the nature of handmade jewellery and is not considered a fault.

Colours and finishes

We display colours and finishes as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary depending on individual screen settings, monitor calibration, lighting and the handmade finish of each piece.

Where product images show natural materials, stones, oxidation, anodised metals, gold frosting, enamel, timber, brick, shell or other variable finishes, the final piece may differ slightly from the photographed example.

Copyright

All products, designs, images and written content on this website are protected by copyright and are owned by the individual jeweller, Lord Coconut, or the relevant rights holder.

Product images, descriptions and designs must not be copied, reproduced or used without permission.

Custom orders

Some of our jewellers can work with individual clients on custom orders. These can be discussed in person for Melbourne-based customers, or by phone, email or Zoom.

A quote will be provided before the work begins. Custom orders usually take approximately 3–5 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and the jeweller’s schedule.

Custom orders cannot usually be cancelled once work has begun, as each piece is made specifically to your requirements. Finished custom orders cannot usually be returned or exchanged for change of mind.

This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law if the item is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian dollars and include GST unless you change the currency setting on the website.

Prices may change without notice due to changes in material costs, gold prices, gemstone prices, labour costs or supplier pricing.

Ring sizing

Please choose your ring size carefully before placing an order. Your fingers can change size depending on temperature, weather, time of day and other factors.

The customer is responsible for approving the ring size at the time of ordering. Lord Coconut cannot take responsibility for an incorrect size choice. Any resizing or remake required because the wrong size was ordered will be at the customer’s cost.

Please note that titanium, Damascus steel and zirconium rings cannot usually be resized. Make sure your size is correct before ordering these materials.

A Lord Coconut ring size chart is available here:

If you are unsure about your ring size, please contact us before placing your order.

Resizing

Some gold and silver rings may be able to be resized, depending on the design, material, stone setting, finish and construction.

Titanium, Damascus steel and zirconium rings generally cannot be resized.

If a ring has been purchased during a sale or promotional period, resizing may still be possible, but will be charged at the resizing cost price where applicable.

Titanium, Damascus steel and zirconium rings

Please choose your ring size carefully when ordering titanium, Damascus steel or zirconium rings, as these materials generally cannot be resized.

Your ring will be made to the size ordered. Refunds or exchanges are not available for incorrect size choice, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Postage

Australian postage is free via Australia Post Express Post.

Overseas postage is $20. International customers are responsible for any local duties, taxes, customs charges or import fees.

Orders are posted once they have been made and checked. Australian deliveries usually take 1–4 business days after posting. International deliveries usually take 6–21 business days after posting, depending on local customs arrangements.

These delivery time frames do not include the time required for the jeweller to make your order.

Certain non-jewellery items may incur an additional handling fee due to their size or weight.

Privacy

We will not disclose your personal information unless required by law, required to process your order, or required to provide customer service relating to your purchase.

Returns and exchanges

Please contact Lord Coconut within 14 days of receiving your order if you would like to request a return or exchange.

Eligible items must be unused, unworn and returned in their original condition and packaging. Returns and exchanges must be approved before the item is posted back.

A flat return fee of $15 AUD applies to eligible change-of-mind returns and exchanges. This amount will be deducted from an approved refund. Original delivery charges are not refundable.

The $15 AUD return fee does not apply to items confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

Change-of-mind returns and exchanges are not available for custom orders, personalised items, fingerprint jewellery, made-to-size rings, earrings, resized or altered jewellery, or pieces made specifically for the customer.

Full details are available in our Returns and Refund Policy:

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Faults, repairs and refunds

If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact Lord Coconut as soon as possible with your order details and clear photos of the issue.

Where required under Australian Consumer Law, we will provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the issue, this may include repair, replacement or refund.

Minor handmade variations, slight differences in finish, colour, texture, natural materials or oxidation are not usually considered faults.
